Selsey Community Watch is an association of professional, voluntary and other local organisations; its purpose is to work together to provide practical support and befriending activities to those who might be in need.
By working together, these organisations aim to efficiently and effectively draw into the local community those people who might be lonely and isolated.
Selsey is a pleasant seaside town which attracts many retirees. Unfortunately, many of them lose their partners and find themselves living alone, often far away from family and earler friends. As a result, there is an increased risk of loneliness and social isolation. Selsey Community Watch was established in 2014 to meet this particular local problem.
